ABOUT CATE

Cate is a PhD candidate at Cardiff University's Data Justice Lab where her research is funded by a grant from the Economic & Social Research Council (ESRC). Her PhD project is concerned with the ways in which discourses of surveillance impact on trade union campaigns and organisation. Her research interests broadly include trade unions, surveillance, datafication and data justice, resistance, and solidarity. She works as a Community Tutor at Cardiff University's Centre for Continuing and Professional Education where she leads modules on Research Methods and Education and Society. She is on the editorial board of the JOMEC Journal.
